About the role

SSDLPG is seeking candidates with 3-6 years of experience in research, writing, and people skills, with a focus on issues concerning students from pre-school to 12th grade. The role involves supporting Senior Associates, Of Counsel, and Partners within the SSDLPG group.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation for office visits and client meetings
  • Expertise in special education, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Americans with Disabilities Act, and student discipline
  • Knowledgeable in providing daily advice and counsel to clients on student-related matters
  • Supporting clients in student litigation and interactions with OAH, CDE, and Federal agencies

Qualifications

Candidates should have a law degree and be licensed to practice law in California.
