About the role
The position offers the ability to join a well-established, growing and highly sophisticated national practice with attorneys who represent clients involved in or with the energy industry. The position will include wide-ranging renewable energy work, from project development, commercial, financing and transactional practice areas.
Responsibilities
- Work with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group on renewable or conventional energy transactions, or comparable transactional experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
- Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.
- Familiarity with tax credit matters, including investment tax credits (ITCs) or production tax credits (PTCs).
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or comparable transactional experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Minnesota.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $205,000 – $215,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
