Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice - Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Support the defense of complex medical malpractice cases from inception through trial and appeal.
  • Conduct case evaluations, develop litigation strategy, and advise clients on risk assessment and potential exposure.
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions, prepare trial briefs, oversee discovery, including expert witness preparation.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings and trials.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay current on changes in healthcare law.
  • Able to travel for court, client meetings, etc.
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule from the Bedminster, NJ office.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice and/or General Liability.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active and good standing NJ bar license; required.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in defense litigation.
  • Experience reviewing complex medical records, expert testimony, and scientific evidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Prior experience representing hospitals, physicians, insurance companies or healthcare systems, preferred.

Pay

Our good faith starting salary for the associate position is: $100,000+.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule from the Bedminster, NJ office.
