Associate Attorney – Immigration Law
About the role
Marcus Law Firm, PLLC is a boutique immigration law practice dedicated to providing compassionate and expert legal representation. Founded in 2018, we focus on complex immigration matters, including asylum, Cuban Adjustment Act cases, humanitarian visas, family-based petitions, and appeals. In 2025, Marcus Law Firm earned national recognition when one of our cases — Matter of Roque-Izada — was selected for publication by the Board of Immigration Appeals, setting precedent for similar cases nationwide. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an in-person role at our North Glendale office — an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career attorney to gain immediate courtroom experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of immigrant families.

- Collaborate closely with our legal team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong client service.
- Participate in community outreach and uphold the firm’s reputation for compassionate, high-quality representation.
- Occasional travel for detained cases as needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to any U.S. state bar (recent bar exam takers awaiting results are encouraged to apply; offers contingent on bar passage).

- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
