Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation to clients in Family Law, including child custody, divorce, child and spousal support, depositions, and other related areas.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests and rights.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the highest quality of legal services.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends in Family Law to provide accurate and timely counsel.
- Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and reputation in the Family Law field.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Family Law, with a strong track record of handling child custody, divorce, child and spousal support, depositions, etc.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in Family Law.
- Experience with legal research tools and software.
Pay
$90,000 - $150,000 per year
