About the role
The associate attorney will work on high-impact environmental litigation representing primarily states, tribes, and local governments. The team is at the forefront of litigation to hold polluters accountable for damages inflicted on communities.
Responsibilities
- Investigating and analyzing legal claims
- Engaging in all facets of discovery
- Interviewing fact witnesses and scientific experts
- Drafting motions, briefs, and other pleadings
- Appearing and arguing in state and federal court
- Preparing for and trying cases
Requirements
- Demonstrated analytical and writing skills
- Strong communication skills

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of litigation or clerkship experience preferred
- Legal degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in at least one state
Skills
- Excellent research and writing skills

- Experience with legal research databases and case management systems
