Associate Attorney — Community Association and Employment Practices Liability (West Palm Beach)

Responsibilities

• Manage cases independently from inception through post-trial, including deadline and docket management
• Attend court conferences, oral argument, depositions, and mediations
• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, discovery responses, and motions
• Advise and communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
• Develop case strategy and prepare timely status reports

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor; admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing (required)
• Admission to the U.S. District Courts (Southern and/or Middle District of Florida) expected for employment practices candidates, preferred otherwise
• 3+ years litigating community association and/or employment practices liability matters
• Familiarity with Florida Chapters 718 and 720 and/or Florida and federal employment statutes
• Large firm or specialized boutique experience; prior trial experience preferred
• Familiarity with Aderant Expert Sierra, iTimekeep, and NetDocuments a plus
