Job Details

This is a full-time opportunity with flexibility for in-office or hybrid work, depending on the candidate's preference.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of civil defense litigation matters with minimal supervision
• Handle all phases of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, law and motion practice, and trial preparation
• Serve as the primary handling attorney on assigned cases, with regular client communication and updates
• Work closely with a collaborative team of experienced litigators in a supportive, team-driven environment
• Deliver high-quality legal work within a 1,900-hour annual billable requirement

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience in civil litigation defense
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in public entity defense, insurance defense, or business litigation
• Ability to take ownership of cases and thrive with autonomy
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
