Associate Attorney - Civil Defense

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation to clients in civil defense litigation matters including insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial disputes.
• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Continually seek to understand and act upon attorney, client, and firm needs, concerns, and priorities.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing (CA or NV).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in litigation with a focus on insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial law.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 1850 billable hours required.

$105,000 - $200,000 per year
