About the role

We are a busy Houston based consumer law firm seeking a full time associate attorney with litigation experience for our Houston office.

Responsibilities

• Attending Hearings
• Attending/Taking/Defending Depositions
• Attending Mediations
• Drafting Motions and Responses to Motions
• Reviewing and approving discovery
• Research & Briefing as needed
• Attending Trial
• Drafting demand letters
• Communicate with clients

Requirements

• Jurisprudence Doctorate Required
• Texas Bar License Required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be interested in all aspects of Civil Litigation from pre-suit demands to post-judgment collections and appeals, including drafting demand letters, case summaries, depositions, discovery, hearings, trials, and client contact.
