Responsibilities
- Aiding and assisting lead attorneys and partners with motion practice, discovery, motion hearings, and trial preparation.
- Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources.
- Leading and supporting state/federal cases and arbitrations.
- Delegating tasks to appropriate staff.
- Communicating with opposing counsel and with court staff.
Qualifications/Skills
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Strong research, writing and analysis skills.
- Ability to interface directly with clients.
- Experience drafting motions, summary judgments, trial briefs, and original petitions, arguing law motion practice, and taking and defending depositions.
- 0 - 3 years of experience in civil litigation, family law, and real estate law is preferred, however, training will be provided to candidates with less experience.
Pay
Salary negotiable and based on experience.

Schedule
Daily in-office presence at our Dallas Office (i.e., not remote) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.
