Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Seattle, WA office. We offer a unique remote-first setting with occasional in-person work as needed by courts and clients, low billable hours (100 per month), direct client contact, and the opportunity to develop substantive litigation skills early in your career.

What You Will Do

• Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
• Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and mediate disputes.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with precision.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented setting to achieve collective success.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience, with preference for candidates with prior Family Law experience.
• Active admission to the Washington State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Compensation

$130,000 - $199,680 annually, with potential for additional commissions based on billable hours and collections.
