Associate Attorney

About the role

A hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney position is available at Modern Family Law, a national law firm specializing in Family Law. The role is based in Fort Collins, CO, offering a remote-first setting with occasional in-person work as needed by courts and clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
• Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and mediate disputes.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented group to achieve collective goals.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience preferred.
• Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
• Active admission to the Colorado State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Pay

$130,000 - $172,000 annually, with potential adjustments based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Schedule

This role is a full-time position, with eligibility for Work From Anywhere after 6 months.
