About the role

Modern Family Law is growing and seeks a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney to join their team in launching and growing their new Atlanta office. This role offers a remote-first setting with the option for in-person work, low billable hours, direct client contact, and the chance to develop substantive litigation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
  • Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and mediate disputes.
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks with precision.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of Family Law experience preferred.
  • Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
  • Active admission to the Georgia State Bar.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Pay

$85,000 - $135,000 annually, with potential for additional commissions based on billable hours and collections.

Schedule
