Associate Attorney

About the role

A hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney position is available at Modern Family Law, a national law firm specializing in Family Law. The role offers a remote-first setting with the option for in-person work as needed by courts and clients. Billable hours are low (100 per month), and direct client contact is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
• Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, conduct depositions, attend court appearances, and mediate disputes.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks with precision.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience, with preference given to those with litigation experience.
• Active admission to the Washington State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a strong focus on attention to detail.
• The ability to handle multiple priorities with a client-focused approach.

Pay

$135,000 - $199,680 annually, with adjustments based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

Schedule

This role is a full-time position with eligibility for the Work From Anywhere program after 6 months.
