The Law Office of Shelly M. Ingram seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its collaborative and client-centered practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in family law, training in custody and property mediation, and a passion for providing thoughtful, out-of-court solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve cases efficiently
• Attend court hearings, perform legal research, and prepare for litigation
• Draft motions, pleadings, affidavits, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Manage and organize client files
• Advising clients, developing case strategies, and setting realistic expectations
• Engage in firm marketing efforts—networking, bar events, social media
• Commit to ongoing learning, system improvement, and delivering an exceptional client experience

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Maryland
• 1-3 years of experience in family law
• Trained in custody and property mediation
• Grounded in the fundamentals, yet eager to learn and grow
