Associate Attorney

Job Details

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, motion practice, and trial work.
• Perform extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and court decisions.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to case management.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate effectively to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Stay updated with the latest legal trends and changes to ensure compliance and provide the best legal advice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the State Bar and in good standing.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Proven experience in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and other litigation-related activities.
• Excellent legal research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to advocate effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
