Job Details

• Handle a general civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution, including pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial
• Represent individuals, families, businesses, and municipal clients across a range of civil matters
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Conduct depositions, written discovery, and case investigation
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel throughout the lifecycle of a case
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and firm leadership on case strategy and development
• Appear in state court proceedings as needed

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Washington State Bar license in good standing
• 2+ years experience in civil litigation
• Experience or strong background in general civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and appearing in court
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships with professionalism and care
