Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad range of litigation matters including trial preparation, depositions, hearings, motions, pleadings, and discovery.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, demonstrating exceptional courtroom presence and advocacy skills.
  • Draft and review various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and advise clients.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Manage all aspects of case management, ensuring timely progression and resolution of cases.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Continually stay updated with changes in laws and regulations, and leverage this knowledge to benefit our clients and the firm.

Qualifications

Required

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney with a strong focus on litigation and civil litigation.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
  • Proven experience in trial preparation, depositions, hearings, motions, pleadings, and discovery.
  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in delivering high-quality client service.
  • Proficient in case management and able to handle a diverse caseload.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic, committed to professional growth and development.
