Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of litigation matters including trial preparation, depositions, hearings, motions, pleadings, and discovery.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, demonstrating exceptional courtroom presence and advocacy skills.
- Draft and review various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests and responses.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and advise clients.
- Maintain open and regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Manage all aspects of case management, ensuring timely progression and resolution of cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Continually stay updated with changes in laws and regulations, and leverage this knowledge to benefit our clients and the firm.
Qualifications
Required
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney with a strong focus on litigation and civil litigation.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience in trial preparation, depositions, hearings, motions, pleadings, and discovery.
- Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
- Demonstrated ability in delivering high-quality client service.
- Proficient in case management and able to handle a diverse caseload.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision.
