Job Details
We are seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our Atlanta office.
This role offers exposure to a variety of defense matters including premises liability, casualty claims, and other civil litigation work. Attorneys in this group are given real responsibility and are actively involved in all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
- Handle general liability defense matters from inception through resolution
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue motions
- Attend court hearings and case management conferences
- Manage discovery and assist with trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients and insurance carriers
- Collaborate with partners on case strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of general liability or civil litigation experience
- Experience with depositions, court appearances, and motion practice preferred
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Georgia Bar admission required
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and work within a team environment
