What you'll do
- Handle sophisticated civil litigation matters from early case strategy through resolution or trial
- Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, client communications, and case deadlines
- Develop thoughtful litigation strategies and analyze complex legal and factual issues
- Work directly with experienced attorneys and high-level corporate clients
- Contribute to a collaborative, collegial office culture where quality work and initiative are recognized
Qualifications
- 1–7+ years of civil litigation experience
- Experience independently handling core aspects of a case, including discovery, strategy, client communication, and motion practice preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to identify issues others may miss
- Self-motivated, strategic, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to producing excellent work product
- Active California Bar license in good standing
Compensation & benefits
Salary range: $150,000–$250,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus potential. Compensation will depend on experience, litigation background, demonstrated capabilities, and overall fit. The firm is willing to pay elevated, above-market rates for the right long-term candidate.
