Associate Attorney

The Role

You'll handle a steady volume of insurance defense matters, representing insureds and carriers across a range of civil litigation. You'll be actively involved in all phases of litigation — this is not a document review role. From early case evaluation through discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial, you'll develop real litigation skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Defending personal injury, premises liability, auto liability, and general negligence matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Conducting legal research and preparing coverage analyses and case evaluations
• Communicating directly with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
• Attending hearings, mediations, and trials

What They're Looking For

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission
• 0–4 years of civil litigation experience; insurance defense background a plus but not required
• Strong legal writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
• Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset
