Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of cases from initial assignment through resolution
• Conduct depositions and examinations under oath
• Draft and argue motions
• Prepare legal opinions and analysis
• Lead trials as first chair after gaining experience
• Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with clients
• Work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, including discovery, motions, and depositions
• Strong litigation skills and a desire to try cases
• Willingness to travel within California for court appearances and trials
• Barred in California
• Insurance defense litigation experience is preferred
• Experience in developing a case strategy with clients is preferred
• Background in handling cases through trial as a lead attorney is preferred
