About the role

The Associate Attorney will handle matters related to foreclosures in GA, primarily focusing on document and file review in a high volume and fast paced environment. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate aspects of the foreclosure process.

Responsibilities

  • Review loan and foreclosure documents
  • Prepare FDCPA notices and breach letters
  • Provide legal and regulatory guidance to support teams and to Clients
  • Aid with other duties and special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Member of the Georgia State Bar in good standing

Qualifications

  • Proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Timely issue identification and resolution
  • Team player and willing to help others in their department
  • Extremely organized and capable of multi-tasking
  • Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
  • Initiative in face of obstacles and ability to take action
