Associate Athletic Director, Student-Athlete Welfare and Compliance

About the role

The Associate Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Welfare and Compliance oversees the department's student-athlete support system and ensures compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. This position also serves as the Senior Women’s Administrator and supervises selected intercollegiate athletic teams.

Responsibilities

• Aids in establishing policies and procedures for effective development of competitive athletic teams and supports student-athlete educational goals.
• Collaborates with academic support and other campus partners to enhance student-athlete retention efforts.
• Serves as a member of the institutional Case Management Team and works with the Faculty Athletics Representative to develop and coordinate an academic enrichment program.
• Maintains academic eligibility records and designs data collection instruments for student-athletes.
