Associate, Asset Management | CA OR NY About the Firm:A well-capitalized real estate owner and operator with a nationwide portfolio of retail assets. The firm takes an active approach to investing and asset management, focusing on driving value through leasing strategies, operational improvements, redevelopment initiatives, and capital markets execution. With a collaborative and analytical culture, the platform offers significant exposure to both asset-level decision-making and broader portfolio strategy. What You'll Do:Support asset management and investment initiatives across a portfolio of office and retail propertiesBuild and maintain complex Argus and Excel modelsConduct valuation, hold/sell, leasing, and cash flow analysesAssist with dispositions, refinancings, debt transactions, and due diligence processesDevelop property-level business plans and investment strategiesPartner with teams across leasing, development, property management, and finance to drive asset performanceEvaluate investment returns, capital allocation decisions, and portfolio optimization opportunities Qualifications:4+ years of experience in real estate investing, asset management, investment banking, brokerage, or a related fieldAdvanced Excel and Argus Enterprise modeling skillsStrong understanding of real estate valuation, underwriting, IRR, and cash flow analysisExperience reviewing leases, debt documents, and transaction materialsHighly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline preferred Desired Skills and Experience:Proven ability to build and validate detailed cash flow models and financial projections.Expertise in office and/or retail real estate asset analysis, including lease interpretation and investment evaluation. Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling; strong understanding of IRR, NPV, and other financial metrics. Hands-on experience with ARGUS Enterprise or ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology platforms. Track record of supporting complex transactions, including dispositions, debt underwriting, and due diligence. Minimum 4+ years in real estate investment, asset management, or related financial roles. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
