Associate Assembler - Temporary

Job Responsibilities

• Produce quality work to prescribed standards, focusing on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).
• Participate in LEAN Events, “Six S” activities, and action teams.
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
• Perform entry-level assembly functions, such as prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings.
• Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.
• Perform pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in depth.
• Basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
