Temporary Assembler I

TSC is seeking a Temporary Assembler at our Huntsville, AL Discovery location to support our production division.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production type hardware according to company workmanship standards and military or client specifications.
• Assists in the development and wiring of engineering models and in the development of assembly methods and wire lists.
• Uses hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and make other adjustments to fit components together and align them properly.
• May assist in instructing and training lower level assemblers.
• Reads and interprets wiring lists and assembly drawings and works to work orders using visual aids, ECNs, and schematics.
• May perform rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures.
• May set up and operate automatic prepping, loading, and insertion equipment.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 0-1 years of production and/or assembly experience.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
