About the role

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Associate at IBM, you'll work with clients to help solve real-world business challenges through technology, innovation, and consulting. You'll develop consulting, communication, and collaboration skills needed to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams. As part of the Oracle practice, you'll focus on helping organizations modernize and optimize enterprise business processes through Oracle applications that support finance, supply chain, human resources, procurement, enterprise performance, and digital transformation.

No two projects are exactly alike—you could support clients across healthcare, financial services, public sector, federal sector, automotive, energy, retail, industrial, or manufacturing industries. You'll gain hands-on project experience, mentorship, career coaching, industry-recognized certifications, and exposure to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and automation.

Responsibilities

• Help organizations transform how they serve customers, improve operations, and accelerate digital innovation through modern applications and cloud technologies.
• Contribute to client projects across various industries, including healthcare, financial services, public sector, federal sector, automotive, energy, retail, industrial, or manufacturing.
• Build specialized expertise within your assigned technology practice while developing consulting, communication, and technical skills.
• Work with Oracle applications to modernize and optimize enterprise business processes, including finance, supply chain, human resources, procurement, and digital transformation.
• Gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and automation.

Requirements

• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and enterprise applications.
• Exposure to application development, data, or cloud-related projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal learning.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
• Curiosity about enterprise technologies, Artificial Intelligence, cloud solutions, and digital transformation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Oracle technologies, enterprise applications, databases, or cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, business applications, integrations, or modern application architectures.
• Interest in Oracle solutions, Artificial Intelligence, and continuous learning.
