Associate Analyst, Networking
About the Role

This Associate Analyst role within the Networking department provides problem-solving, reporting, project, and training support to the Networking team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of Direct Business and be a subject matter expert in Networking. You will support the AVP on multiple, possibly overlapping projects, leveraging data analysis, reporting tools, and technology to analyze business requirements, track project status, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Communicate complex issues both in writing and verbally to management, internal/external vendors, and customers.
- Provide oversight of existing processes and mitigate risk against future firm impact.
- Document quality issues, performance measures, and quality improvements for management review.
- Support leadership on multiple and possibly overlapping projects.
- Take on new challenges and reengineer existing processes for improved experience and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal and external team members to implement or support ongoing processes.
- Manage process change, including updating and maintaining department controls and procedures.
- Meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze information and demonstrate strong reporting skills.
- Participate in firm-level mergers and acquisitions.
- Update and maintain department procedures.
- Communicate with other STO departments and external parties to resolve Networking-related issues.
- Support and contribute to the successful execution of projects and initiatives that align with LPL’s priorities.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and scripts writing.
- Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes for a scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure.
- Handle escalations from both the Service Center and Internal teams.
- Complete other assignments as required by Management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the brokerage and financial services industry.
- 2+ years of experience working with MS Access and MS Excel (Macro experience with Excel).

Preferences
- Experience with SQL and Alteryx for running data queries.
- Ability to communicate data-related information to internal teams and different business units.
- Experience working with large data sets and extracting data into clean and concise data points.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications; SharePoint, Smartsheet, and BOX experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- FINRA licenses preferred.
Pay
Pay Range: $20.85–$34.71/hour. Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skills, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
