Responsibilities
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and provide detailed reports and insights to support the Chief Engineer (CE) for IRAD and New Technologies in strategic decision-making.
- Update project schedules and compile metrics for IRAD (Independent Research and Development) projects to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of progress.
- Assist the CE in identifying and implementing What's Next for Waco (WNFW) action items, contributing to the successful execution of these initiatives.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings related to IRAD and New Technologies projects, including preparing materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or related field or have completed such a degree within the last 12 months.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Schedule
9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
