About the role
The primary responsibility of the position is to provide sustaining engineering support for F-15 Integrity Engineering, including:
- Field and depot troubleshooting and engineering problem solving
- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) support
- Technical Order development
- Engineering support for structural aircraft modifications
- Reliability and maintainability investigations
- Structural integrity program support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance (required due to federal government research contracts)
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 1 or more years of work experience
- Experience with aircraft structural fatigue and repair
- Familiarity with principles of fracture mechanics
- CAD (Nx, Solidworks) experience
- USAF or Navy aircraft experience
