Associate Activation and Awareness Sr. Manager - Community Impact & Investment
As the Associate Activation and Awareness Sr. Manager, you will create and deliver a cross-enterprise volunteer program awareness and engagement strategy to assess associate volunteer needs, develop solutions, and drive results that align business strategy with social impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the awareness and operational execution strategy for enterprise volunteerism.
- Establish and maintain a strong cross-enterprise network by partnering with LOB engagement leads, Corporate Communications, BRG leads, Chiefs of Staff, etc., to assess associate needs and scale participation.
- Deliver volunteerism solutions that support always-on, enterprise-wide engagement.
- Maintain tools, awareness collateral, and best practices to create a self-service model for associate engagement.
- Align local volunteer solutions with corporate goals and support execution within compliant frameworks, including the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
- Track, analyze, and provide visibility into internal performance metrics and the external landscape.
- Develop actionable, strategic project plans rooted in stakeholder, customer, and associate insights.
- Bring immediate order and structure to complex workflows, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Exhibit outstanding communication and influencing skills to effectively drive program efforts and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the company.
- Proven track record of excellent project management, with the ability to quickly put frameworks in place to manage and execute work.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze data, research, and inclusive design to build targeted, actionable consulting approaches for business partners.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and motivating cross-functional teams and matrixed networks without direct authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in process management or project management, or a combination.
- At least 3 years of experience executing corporate communication strategies, including brand management, public relations, or marketing communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing, coordinating, or executing community volunteer programs or employee engagement initiatives.
- 1+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on program performance metrics using data visualization or tracking tools.
- 2+ years of experience leveraging emerging AI technology such as Gemini or Claude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and data-driven storytelling.
Pay
- McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management.
- Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
