About the role
This onsite position reports to the Director of Account Management and is based in our Orlando, FL office. It includes hands-on training to ensure success. The Associate Account Manager will support Account Managers in overseeing a book of business, handling inbound leads, and collaborating with clients to cross-sell, upsell, and schedule routine services.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business up to $400,000/month that was previously closed-won.
- Assist with small to mid-size account management and house account management.
- Support smaller new opportunities from inbound leads.
- Assist the General Manager and other Account Management team members on customer projects as needed.
- Develop business revenues from current and potential new customers by:
- Leading and coordinating routine services between customer and Triumvirate Environmental.
- Cross-selling new repeat and recurring services to your assigned customer base.
- Assisting customers with key projects to help them stay in compliance.
- Originating new business opportunities from referrals and networking.
- Acting consultatively as a liaison between the customer and the company to solve problems and coordinate needs.
- Building long-lasting relationships to retain business.
- Provide WOW-level customer service to new and existing clients.
- Coordinate job scope and proposal creation for new business.
- Coordinate the acquisition of purchase orders to ensure timely payment of invoices and assist in collecting outstanding invoices.
- Network within your customer’s organization to build relationships and trust.
- Assist with service recovery—triage and develop new procedures to prevent recurring issues.
- Assist with employee lead follow-up and tracking.
- Learn and apply the Sandler sales methodology effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market changes, competitors, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated positive attitude, strong passion for sales, and high motivation.
- Team player with a commitment to succeed.
- Strong focus on goals, creativity, organization, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to attend client outings as needed.
- Eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Reliable form of transportation and a valid US driver’s license.
- Willingness to consent to a Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
- Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior environmental field operations experience or similar skill set.
- 1-2+ years of prior sales experience.
- Prior experience with account management in the environmental industry.
- Understanding of facilities management.
- Experience working as a supervisor, project manager, or selling to healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or industrial clients.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and industry-specific software.
