About the role
This role is ideal for someone currently in a Sales Operations or sales administrative support role who's ready to take the next step into Account Management with clear growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand existing retail partnerships
- Represent Backyard Products with professionalism and confidence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer buyers and key decision-makers
- Lead and participate in regular meetings to understand customer needs and identify incremental growth opportunities
- Set, track, and manage sales goals
- Develop and execute sales strategies that support revenue and EBITDA growth
- Identify new and organic growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Partner closely with Product Development, Demand Planning, and Marketing to support product launches and promotional strategies
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to develop accurate forecasts using historical data, market trends, and promotional plans
- Prepare and present regular account performance updates to leadership
- Develop polished PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in Sales Operations or a sales support role
- Big-box or club retail experience is a plus
Skills & Attributes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, goal-oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
Work Schedule
1 day work from home; 4 days in-office per week to collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and leadership teams
