Associate Account Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up marketing and planning efforts to respond to requests for proposals, create compelling pitches, and address marketing briefs with sales communications, insights, and marketing solutions teams.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the entire advertising portfolio, including both linear and digital platforms, to proactively spot new opportunities for clients before a request for proposal is issued.
- Collaborate with insights teams to gather and integrate qualitative data into pre-sale planning and presentation development.
- Facilitate coordination with planning teams, ensuring alignment on strategic approaches.
- Engage in prospecting activities for new business after one year in the role, with supervisor approval.
- Empowerment to lead sales efforts for specific accounts, including developing plans, pitching, and managing selling activities after one year in the role.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and agencies, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, advertising operations, and research teams to guarantee the full and timely delivery of all campaign elements.
- Prepare deal memorandums and coordinate comprehensive “Playbooks” for larger campaigns.
- Lead weekly agency status calls or email communications regarding campaign performance and reporting.
- Ensure critical coordination with advertising operations for liability management and campaign delivery to recognize revenue effectively.
- Verify that plans are accurately booked in the system, schedules are confirmed, advertising cost metrics are aligned, and all sponsorship elements are executed as planned.
- Partner with account executives to cultivate strong client relationships, aiming for deal renewals and continued business.
- Cook up and share recap sites and decks with sales communications and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with research teams on custom studies, performance results, or specific reporting.
- Organize and share video clips with agencies, and, in certain cases, provide topline success stories.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in media, specifically on the agency or sales side.
- Proven experience within linear and/or digital advertising platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in media math and analysis.
- Strong ability to manipulate data for comprehensive analysis and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.

- The capacity to multi-task, make decisive actions, and manage projects with entrepreneurial speed.
