Pay Range: $46,700.00 - $70,000.00

Location: This position will be based onsite in our Salt Lake City, UT office.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assists with accessibility assessments of websites, documents, and multimedia content.
• Collects, analyzes, and documents data related to accessibility issues in a clear and concise manner.
• Contributes to the preparation of detailed reports on accessibility evaluations for stakeholders and vendors.
• Collaborates with higher-level accessibility analysts to perform audits and recommend improvements.
• Maintains current knowledge of accessibility guidelines, including WCAG 2.2 AA, and participates in relevant training.
• Communicates accessibility evaluation results effectively to WGU stakeholders and vendors.
• Partners with various departments to support remediation of identified accessibility issues.
• Tests and evaluates accessibility tools and solutions.
• Manages captioning and transcript requests for media assets in courses and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Technology, Accessibility, Human-Computer Interaction) or equivalent work experience.

• Demonstrated progress toward Trusted Tester certification or similar accessibility credential.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508.
• Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.

Additional Information

• This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed.
