Assoc Director, Strategic Customer Lead

About the role
This role is dedicated to supporting one of Ansell’s most strategic global partnerships, leading product innovation, portfolio growth, and customer-focused solutions for Amazon. The position drives new product development, identifies growth opportunities, and collaborates across functions to deliver business impact and accelerate customer success.
- Lead sourcing and business development for new and adjacent product categories aligned with Amazon’s evolving needs.
- Drive customer-focused business solutions and growth initiatives across sourcing, supply chain, and operational efficiency.
- Own the end-to-end new product development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and business case creation through commercialization and launch.
- Manage and optimize Amazon’s product portfolio, including lifecycle management, value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop sourcing, capacity, inventory, and supply chain strategies to support successful product launches and scalable growth.
- Serve as the cross-functional lead, aligning Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Leverage analytics, forecasting, KPI tracking, and financial insights to support strategic decision-making, portfolio performance, and P&L management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
- 8+ years in product/portfolio management, category management, strategic sourcing, or business development.
- Demonstrated New Product Development experience, ideation through commercial launch.
- Experience cooperatively developing customer-focused solutions to business problems — beyond product, including supply-chain, sourcing, or commercial-solutioning initiatives.
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Experience in B2B industrial markets and/or PPE/safety categories preferred.
- Strategic-account or key-account experience a strong plus.
Skills
- Strategic product and portfolio management, with sourcing and NPD leadership.
- Business-development capability — identify, quantify, and activate growth and efficiency projects, coordinating internal and external resources.
- Strong analytical and business-intelligence capability — dashboards, forecasting models, KPI frameworks, and performance tracking.
- Financial modeling and P&L / budget acumen; ability to connect product decisions to commercial and program economics.
- S&OP/IBP operating discipline and the ability to formalize governance and cadence.
- Ability to translate commercial data into clear, executive-ready insight and recommendations.
- Cross-functional facilitation and influence without direct authority; consensus building across R&D, Supply, Finance, and Commercial.
- Customer-centric, proactive, and resilient in a fast-paced, high-energy environment managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 US Dollars per year. Specific salary for this role may vary within this range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Candidate may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
