Assoc. Director of Product Management

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technology teams to define requirements for investment products, portfolios, securities, transactions, and market data.
  • Create source-to-target mapping documentation to show how data moves from upstream systems to downstream platforms.
  • Validate data transformation rules, field mappings, and business logic to help ensure accurate data movement across systems.
  • Perform data reconciliation to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between source and target environments.
  • Support data migration, integration, and system enhancement efforts by checking for completeness and accuracy.
  • Work closely with business users, operations, developers, and QA partners to confirm functional and data-related requirements.
  • Create test scenarios, test cases, and traceability documentation based on business needs.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, including execution support, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
  • Monitor data feeds and interfaces to help ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Contribute to production issue investigation and reconciliation break resolution as needed.
  • Support product strategy, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement efforts across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in product management, digital strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Background in investment data, financial instruments, or financial services environments.
  • Working knowledge of user acceptance testing and test documentation.
  • Ability to analyze data using SQL and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience supporting agile ways of working.
  • Comfort working with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

Skills

  • Experience with security master data, holdings and positions, portfolio accounting, or investment reporting.
  • Exposure to equities, fixed income, derivatives, IBOR/ABOR transactions, or similar investment data domains.
  • Experience in enterprise product lifecycle management from concept through launch and optimization.
  • Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insight gathering.
  • Experience supporting roadmap development and feature prioritization.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Scrum, or product management frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating on enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and innovative product approaches.
