Assoc. Dir Manufacturing Operations (onsite)
About the role
The ideal candidate will lead and align the site’s functions (Operations, Facilities, Maintenance, EH&S, CI, Production Engineering) through the development and execution of a cohesive strategy. They will take a hands-on approach in coaching and guiding the functional leaders through major projects, recoveries, and tactical activities as necessary to align with the strategic business plan.
Responsibilities
- Take a hands-on approach in coaching and guiding the functional leaders through any major projects, recoveries, and tactical activities as necessary to align with the strategic business plan annually, quarterly, and monthly.
- Be the driving force behind the implementation of the CORE Operating System.
- Concentrate on the strategic business needs of the site (capacity, headcount, financial impact/cost per hour/absorption/variance, alignment to AOP/Master Schedule/Monthly Plan, inventory, OTD).
- Align and balance the strategic business needs with the tactical execution of each function.
- Support business travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (Management / Engineering or similar).
- 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
- 10+ years in Operations related Leadership/Management roles (hands on VS/BUM/Operations Manager).

Pay
The salary range for this role is 172,900 USD - 328,700 USD.
