Assisted Living Server - Part Time 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm all days

About the role

The Gables is seeking Food Servers to join our dedicated team of hospitality professionals. Our food service team provides a vital point of daily connection for our elderly residents in a warm, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dining room flow to ensure residents receive timely and accurate meal service
• Foster a welcoming, respectful, and patient atmosphere for our residents
• Assist with light prep, plating, and ensuring the dining area remains pristine
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to accommodate dietary preferences and needs

Requirements

• Over the age of 18 and not a college student looking solely for summer employment
• Must be available for dinner shift: 3:30 PM - 6:45 PM - Part time - 7 days available, minimum of 2 days
• Experience in server roles is preferred, but a heart for service is a requirement
• Reliable and able to work a minimum of 2 days per week
• Communicative and able to interact warmly with elderly residents and communicate effectively with the team
• Professionalism is valued, as this is a non-tipped position offering a competitive, stable hourly wage

• Take pride in making every resident feel welcome, recognized, and "at home."
• Understand that a smile and a kind word are just as important as the meal itself
