Essential Job Functions
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
- Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu.
- Follow sanitary regulations at all times.
- Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
- Set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served.
- Auxiliary in checking resident trays before distribution.
- Pour hot and cold beverages for residents. Assist residents with opening their containers and condiments as needed.
- Pay special attention to resident and guest needs while they are enjoying their dining experience.
- Prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community.
- Bus tables during and after the meals.
- Provide support services to other dining rooms, during events and activities as needed.
- Clean dining room area according to the cleaning schedules and assignments.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
- Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
- Communicate in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, residents, and families.
Education And Experience
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
- Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred.
Pay, Schedule, Benefits
- Wage: $16.50-$19 hourly, depending on experience.
- Shift: 3pm-7pm, 10:30am-7pm, weekends required.
