About the role
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team as the Assisted Living Nurse. This position provides a continuum of quality and compassionate care to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of residents, including those in Assisted Living and Independent Living+ environments. The Registered Nurse also serves as a leader and supervisor, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide care supervision and leadership to licensed and unlicensed staff in the provision of care.
- Assist in supervising the Resident Care Assistant (RCAC) staff, including training, back-up payroll, performance management, in-services, and monthly staff meetings.
- Work an occasional night or weekend shift to connect with staff or fill in shifts.
- Participate in a nurse on-call rotation 1 weekday per week from 6 PM to 6 AM.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin, or the ability to obtain licensure by the established start date.
- 2-3 years of experience in a leadership and/or supervisory capacity in healthcare or a related field; preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative, and restorative clinical practices; preferred.
- Must have great communication skills that allow effective and professional conversations among staff, the public, residents, pharmacies, etc.
- Valid driver's license; must maintain a safe driving record.
- Experience working with computers and the ability and willingness to adapt to new software and programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of geriatric care and rehabilitation techniques.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.

Pay
$41.00 per hour, starting wage, with potential for adjustment based on qualifications, education, and experience.
Schedule
72-80 hours per 2-week pay period, typically weekdays with occasional night or weekend shifts.
