Established in 1876, St. Anne’s has served seniors in the Milwaukee area for nearly 150 years, providing exceptional care and compassionate support.
The Assisted Living Director is responsible for the leadership of the Health Services operations at the Assisted Living Facility (ALF) and Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC), ensuring delivery of quality programs and services to residents in a safe and secure environment. This role maintains positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, volunteers, churches, and the local community, while providing continuity of care and consistent application of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
- Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community, aligning with our mission, vision, and values.
- Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
- Provides general leadership of the Health Services of the ALF and RCAC community, empowering staff to be creative, offer input into decision-making, and develop as accountable team members.
- Assists Director of Social Services with advanced medical directives, guardianships, and provision of social and emotional support.
- Develops and oversees, in conjunction with other staff, the organizational annual goals and objectives and ensures implementation as scheduled.
- Ensures the provision of quality services for residents and prompt resolution of concerns to achieve resident satisfaction.
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with residents and family members/personal representatives; participates in resident/family council meetings where applicable.
- Responsible for maintaining a staffing plan to ensure effective delivery of quality services, including hiring decisions, mentoring, and corrective action for all ALF/RCAC clinical staff reporting directly to this position.
- Ensures positive team relations among staff and buildings, streamlining programs and services as appropriate.
- Assists in the development and monitoring of operational and capital budgets for the ALF/RCAC.
- Ensures all corporate policies and procedures are administered effectively and fairly; develops new policies and revises outdated ones pertaining to the ALF/RCAC.
- Responsible for compliance with regulatory agencies, including training, mentorship, and continued survey preparedness for all ALF/RCAC staff.
- Participates in strategic planning for the campus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an Assisted Living or Long-Term Care retirement setting.
- Minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience in a similar setting.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) preferred or willingness to obtain.
