Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach

Essential Functions

• Affords assistance to the Head Coach in organizing and conducting practice sessions and game preparations.
• Identifies, recruits, coaches, and develops high-level athletes for the program.
• Organizes official and unofficial visits.
• Assists the Head Coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring, fundraising, game management, and scheduling.
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Past competitive and/or coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level, is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required due to the necessity of travel for the position.
• Strong organizational, oral, written, teaching, and computer skills are required.
• Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is preferred.
