Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach (Temporary Part-time)

About the role

Duties and Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the head coach in match, tournament, and practice planning/evaluation.
• Analyzes performance and instructs athletes in volleyball techniques and strategies for competitions.
• Safeguards the academic success of volleyball student-athletes.
• Builts and sustains positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
• Manages equipment usage.
• Completes other duties as assigned by the Head Women's Volleyball Coach, Assistant Vice President for Athletics and Sport Management, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors.

Requirements

• Coaching or playing experience is required.
• Must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (frequent nights and weekends).
• Able to lift and move athletic equipment.
• Able to travel with the team, either by vehicle or plane.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Possesses a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park University's mission of Christian higher education.

Stipend

$1,000 stipend provided.
