Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach - Temporary

Union College, a highly selective liberal arts institution in Schenectady, New York, seeks a part-time temporary Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. The program competes in NCAA Division III and the Liberty League. Union sponsors 27 intercollegiate sports, with 25 in Division III and Men's and Women's Ice Hockey at Division I.

About the Role

This position assists the Head Coach in all aspects of the women’s volleyball program, including coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties for the women’s volleyball program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.
• Collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to recruit within College, NCAA, and Liberty League rules.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
• Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Philosophy compatible with a multi-classified liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.

Pay

The expected hourly rate for this position is $18.00.

Schedule

• Hours per week: 10
• Weeks per year: 14
• Work days and shift times vary based on business need.
