Assistant Women's Softball Coach - 2nd Assistant

This is a part-time seasonal position.

About the role

The Assistant Women's Softball Coach- 2nd Assistant is responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining a successful Women's Softball Program at the College through their support of the Head Women's Softball Coach. This position coaches the Gloucester Campus Roadrunners.

As a New Jersey First Act Employer, new employees must establish a primary residence in New Jersey within one year unless an exemption applies.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment of potential student-athletes
• Practice preparation
• In and out-of season training
• Game/match day management
• Retention of quality student-athletes
• Ensure the success and safety of student athletes on and off the field
• Safe transportation of team members to and from away contests
• Adherence to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ and Athletic Department rules and regulations
• Assist the Head Coach with fundraising and development of alumni and community relations
• Ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the College
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Executive Director of Athletics

Requirements

• Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport of softball is required
• Associates degree required
• Valid driver's license in good standing required
