Assistant Softball Coach (COACH AST 2)

About the role

Under the general direction of the softball head coach, assist in coaching aspects of an NCAA Division I softball program including team travel, scouting opponents, practice planning, and assisting with summer camps and clinics in full compliance with NCAA and university rules and regulations.

Requirements

No minimum education requirement. Collegiate coaching or playing experience in the sport of softball. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of the rules and strategies of softball, including teaching techniques, coaching strategies, and safety measures.

Qualifications

Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures of UC Davis, Big West Conference, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
