Assistant Warehouse Manager

About the role

Ryder is immediately hiring an Overnight Assistant Warehouse Manager in Greencastle, PA for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The Manager Customer Logistics will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area.

Responsibilities

• Customer service satisfaction and expectation management
• Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
• Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling
• Health and Safety Management
• State/Local/Federal regulations compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production — advanced required

Pay

$70,000 to $75,000 based on experience, paid twice per month. Exempt / Salary.

Schedule

Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 4:30 AM with flexibility to work additional hours or days if needed to support business needs.
